FIFTEEN young construction students recently dedicated their free time to help others at a centre for adults with learning difficulties.
School pupils that attend Gateshead College studying for their Young Apprenticeship in Construction gained valuable work experience making timber tables for Gateshead Council's Marquisway Day Centre at Team Valley. The first year young apprentice students, aged 14 and 15, built tables that allow able individuals and wheelchair users to have somewhere to work while potting plants in the day centre's greenhouse.See the full content of this document
