Well I hope you noticed I was away last week sunning myself in Ibiza. It was glorious and isn't it just typical, the week's holiday you choose is when the North East has tropical weather. Hope you enjoyed yourself too. Returning home from a holiday you do see so many changes like the neighbours extension is complete, a new roundabout has appeared, one of your friends is getting divorced or the kids have trashed the house in your absence. Well I came across a petrol station that said "Pay at pump". This confused so many drivers. It's not in fact a new idea. You put your bank card in the device on the pump, punch in your pin number and voila! Your bill is paid. What about cash though? This is what confused the drivers, do they take cash? Do you go into the shop to pay or what? An elderly gentleman was very confused and told me he had been waiting 20 minutes for an assistant to fill his tank, I did enlighten him.
