MANY travellers in the region believe they are being discriminated against.
One family, Terry and Tracey Burnside, made the claim after they and their three children were ordered off their own land near Lanchester. Mr Burnside, 30, a horse dealer, had applied for retrospective planning permission to convert the land into a residential site, but permission was refused by Derwentside District Council.
