A TRADITIONAL fete will be revived in a Northumberland village later this month.
Residents of Stocksfield, recently voted North East Village of the Year in a competition run by Calor, were asked by the local parish council how they would like to improve community spirit even further. And they voted overwhelmingly to restore a traditional village fete, which has not been held in the village for more than two decades. A week of entertainment will culminate in the festival day on September 12, which will be held on the sports fields next to Stocksfield cricket club.See the full content of this document
