THERE has been a significant rise in the number of cases of mumps and measles across the North East.
There were 1,283 clinically diagnosed cases of mumps in the region last year and NHS North of Tyne, which covers Newcastle Primary Care Trust (PCT), North Tyneside PCT and Northumberland Care Trust, accounted for approximately 50% of them - 662 cases.See the full content of this document
