YOUNG Britons have a "personal ethical responsibility" to consider whether they should cancel any planned charity work in developing countries in a bid to restrict the spread of swine flu, a Department of Health adviser said.
Prof Robert Dingwall said modern air travel made it possible for young Britons to be "infected at home, travel in an infectious condition and deliver the virus to a remote destination with a vulnerable population before your own symptoms appear".
