Summary
THIS week is National Child Safety Week. The Child Accident Prevention Trust's annual flagship community education campaign aims to raise awareness of the number of accidents that seriously injure or kill children every year and the steps we can take to help prevent them.
As part of the activities going on throughout the week, children's centres and health centres will be giving away hair straightener pouches to promote the importance of using hair straighteners safely.
