DURHAM City Harriers were celebrating a winning double at the end of the Sherwoods Darlington City Centre 10k Road Race yesterday. Leading the 1,100-strong field home for a first-ever road race success was Dan Garbutt, while former North Eastern Counties Cross- Country champion Rosie Smith was first woman to cross the finish line in 20th place overall.
To cap a fine day, Durham City triumphed in the threeto-score men's team race with Ian Crampton (sixth) and 12th-placed Graham Hunt backing up the race winner.See the full content of this document
