A Newcastle bank is helping to show North East youngsters what it takes to run a business.
In partnership with the Newcastle Education Business Partnership (NEBP), residential mortgage and savings bank Northern Rock, which has its head office in Gosforth, is helping local school pupils to 'Make pounds 5 Grow'. The six-week long Make pounds 5 Grow programme, which is targeted towards 10 and 11-yearolds, is designed to help develop entrepreneurial skills by encouraging children to set up their own business selling goods or services.See the full content of this document
