SAFETY on the North Sea will be at risk if proposed Government cuts go ahead, coastguards have warned.
The fears were sparked by plans to reorganise marine search and rescue operations on the North East coast. Under a new proposed structure, the number of 24-hour coastguard stations would be reduced from 18 to just three.See the full content of this document
