Brewer S&N has secured its hold on an Australian beer.
The company has bought full European ownership of Foster's and pounds 309m will be paid for control of existing brands ( Foster's Draught, Foster's Export and Foster's Ice ( as well as any future brands. Since 1995, S&N has held a licence to brew, package and market the amber nectar in Europe, but it has been forced to pay royalties back to the Foster's Group Limited. Sales of Foster's in the UK and Europe have grown considerably under S&N's management and last year royalty payments amounted to pounds 15m. Foster's amounted to some 14% of S&N's total sales last year.See the full content of this document
