Summary
Commuters using a busy main route into the centre of Durham City have been warned to expect delays from next weekend while road improvements are carried out.
The work, at the junction of Crossgate Peth and Margery Lane on the A690, which carries traffic approaching and leaving the A167 at Neville's Cross, will take three days to complete. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation during the work, which starts on Sunday and Durham County Council warned of the potential for long delays but said there was no good time to carry out the work.See the full content of this document
