PAUL BURR I CAN'T see Manchester United, with Berbatov, Hernandez, Nani and Rooney's current form, scoring less than three. I don't feel we'll score many, if any goals, against Vidic and Ferdinand. I hope dearly I'm wrong. In most games, when our midfield is good, we score goals. That won't be good enough against the Martians from the red planet. They have super weapons. We'll need to defend as if our lives depended on it. We'll need to harry and chase when we don't have possession. And somehow we'll have to create and score what few chances we get.
Prediction: Newcastle 0 Man United 3 GRAHAM BREWIS WILL we face a backlash from the Reds after losing in the FA Cup semi-final? Who cares? Aren't matches like this why we want to be in the Premier League? Packed house, floodlights on (hopefully), sense of anticipation, Rooney to boo at, Owen to jeer at? As for the game, well it's not a foregone conclusion. The record books show that about every five years we get a result and it could be tonight. Am I clutching at straws? Maybe but who cares?
