WORK is to start on a landmark pounds 48m university project.
Building is set to get under way at the end of the month on the development at Durham University after contracts were exchanged with the construction company Laing O'Rourke. The new development, which is at the edge of the university's science block along Stockton Road in Durham, will house a major library extension, a new law school and a student services building. The project, which is due to be completed by September 2012, will also sustain 200 construction jobs.See the full content of this document
