Summary
A top City secretary who fleeced her bosses of nearly pounds 4.5 million is being sentenced today.
Joyti De-Laurey, 35, used the cash to mimic the life of luxury cars, designer clothes and numerous homes enjoyed by the Goldman Sachs bankers, in London, who she worked for. Her husband and mother helped launder the money, she got from a carefully-calculated betrayal behind a smokescreen of efficiency and the sympathy milked from imaginary cancer. She and her family will be sentenced at London's Southwark Crown Court.See the full content of this document
