WELL it seems the silly season is upon up once more, and the usual Christmas traffic chaos in Newcastle city centre.

During a recent visit I was annoyed to find police officers on junctions having to direct traffic. I say annoyed, because it is not the police to blame, but Newcastle City Council and the lies they told about their "parking services" freeing up police officers to do other duties.
