A TYNESIDE university has joined forces with a Higher Education qualification to help revolutionise the treatment available to deaf people experiencing mental health problems.

Northumbria University's School of Health, Community and Education Studies and the North East Commissioning Team for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities is the first in the country to set up the scheme.
