Summary


The parents of a North East backpacker murdered in the Australian outback have spoken of their disgust at a horror film partly based on her death.

Wolf Creek, out in Australia and due to be released in America, was inspired by the crimes of Ivan Milat, who killed Caroline Clarke, just 22, from Slaley, near Hexham, Northumberland, and six other backpackers in the late 80s and early 90s.
