On the Road for 40 Years

Summary

The North of England's largest vintage motoring club was formed in 1966 by owners of Pre-War Austin Cars. The initials NECPWA (North East Club for Pre-War Austins) were so widely used that when the club began to accept other makes the name was retained by popular request. It is not necessary to be a vehicle owner to join the club, but attendance at club rallies is generally restricted to cars over 21 years of age.

It produces an illustrated monthly magazine with articles on restoration and current news and views on historic motoring.
