Summary
The North of England's largest vintage motoring club was formed in 1966 by owners of Pre-War Austin Cars. The initials NECPWA (North East Club for Pre-War Austins) were so widely used that when the club began to accept other makes the name was retained by popular request. It is not necessary to be a vehicle owner to join the club, but attendance at club rallies is generally restricted to cars over 21 years of age.
