PARENTS in the North East have the highest uptake rates of the MMR vaccine, according to the Health Protection Agency.
Between January and March 2007, 89.9% of eligible children living in the region were vaccinated against mumps, measles and rubella by their second birthday - the highest figure in the country. Rates are significantly above the England average of 84.9%.See the full content of this document
