I AGREE with the contribution of Jewel Staite (May 6).
Within the workplace, I frequently find colleagues working in the personnel department, in their first job from school, when processing job applications, are frequently told by their boss to bin any application from a graduate simply on the pretext that they are perceived "not to possess any credible experience". Although, if my employer received 1,000 applications for an entry level job, the issue of weeding out highly skilled candidates may seem a good idea at the time, the attitude does betray contempt of both candidate and both colleges and universities.See the full content of this document
