Coun Rob Higgins may have deliberately failed to grasp this, but the whole point of taking away the awful Lego Men (pictured, with Coun Stone) is that they are still costing us thousands of pounds a year as part of an ongoing water system maintenance contract signed by the previous Labour council, even though it has never actually worked properly.
Blatant squandering of public money may have been the order of the day under Labour, but the Lib Dem-run council has a far more responsible policy. By cutting wasteful spending like this, we are able to keep council tax down for everyone in the city.See the full content of this document
