MANDY Hall thinks daughter Kira Edgar would not be alive without medical research on Ty n e s i d e. Kira, four, from Walkergate, is now full of energy, but when she was only 18 months old Mandy noticed a change in her b e h a v i o u r. She said: We started to notice Kira was losing balance and her head was tilting to one side. We thought that perhaps she had a problem with her inner ear or had a virus so we took her to the doctors.
