A MAN is in a critical condition after being found unconscious by the side of a road The 29-year-old was discovered with a serious head injury in Silksworth Row, Sunderland, early yesterday. Police and paramedics attended and he is being treated in Newcastle General Hospital. Det Chief Insp Roger Ford, of Northumbria Police, said an investigation into what caused the injuries was taking place.
He said: "We do not yet know how this man suffered these injuries and we need the public's help to try and find out. I would urge anyone who was in the Silksworth Row area in the early hours of this morning to get in touch."See the full content of this document
