TEENAGERS from the region got together to celebrate how far they've come under the employment of a local NHS organisation through an innovative scheme.
The "grow your own" initiative funded by the North East Strategic Health Authority (SHA) was developed by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Barnardo's, to introduce young people from more difficult backgrounds to the NHS workforce.
