Each young person had a responsible group leader...Okay, sort of responsible (!) who led each group over the weekend. We had workshops on beauty, craft, sharing our faith, faith at school, drum workshops and dance. The whole event focused on Mathew 13 and the parable of the sower, how the seed is sown and how we can ensure that it lands on fertile ground! We had a "bless the community" project in the afternoon of Saturday where each group decided how to bless Seahouses in any way they wished. It was just fabulous walking around the town seeing young people dancing in the square, painting children's faces, giving balloons away, washing peoples windscreens, doing reverse busking (when people try to give the musicians money you give them some sweets instead! That really confused some folk!).See the full content of this document
