Wii Sports has become the biggestselling video of all time, according to unofficial sales tracker VGChartz. It's suggested that the title, which comes bundled with every Wii console, has now shifted 40.52 million copies - eclipsing the 40.24 million copies of Super Mario Bros for the NES. Nintendo titles populated the entire top 10 biggest sellers.
Elsewhere, research by Nielsen revealed that it was the PS2 that took the honour of most-played console in the US during 2008, accounting for more than 30% of console usage minutes, way ahead of Xbox 360 in second place with 17.2%.
