WE wanted to do something different during Lent to prepare for Easter so Ms Jackson designed a programme for the whole school linked to the performing arts.

Everyone wrote their Lenten promises on flags made from cloth and hung them up in the playground. Then we sketched our ideas for new giant Stations of the Cross and the best ones were chosen. Each child designed and made their own cross using materials such as ceramic tiles, pipe cleaners, collage and embroidery. During Holy Week, each class presented a liturgical dance in the school hall. Everyone had fun.
