Summary
The North East's largest collection of ethnic and tribal artefacts drew a crowd when it went under the hammer.
Assembled by the late Newcastle amateur artist Mary Margaret Hurrell, of Jesmond, the collection contained rare pieces of African and Far East artefacts, with the most valuable estimated to be worth pounds 10,000.
