THE Sage Gateshead has a couple of shows next week which should ease the pain of returning to work after the extended weekend.
On Monday night, in Hall 1, Madeleine Peyroux brings her mix of vintage jazz/blues vocal sounds - by way of Billie Holiday - and contemporary material (Dylan, Cohen etc).
