CLOUD Nine have been delivering cracking drama in the region's theatres for more than a decade now and it's good to see The Selkie continuing that course. It has been written by Tyneside Valerie Laws, and is homegrown, (ie North Eastern), drama at its best. At the heart of it lies a very real tale of a housewife coping with the trials and tribulations of life.
