WALLSEND Boys Club's two most famous sons, Alan Shearer and Peter Beardsley, are combining to raise funds to help the relocation of one of football's finest academies.

Shearer and Beardsley - what a dynamic strike force they would be today in United colours - are doing a talk-in at Wallsend's annual dinner to be held in Dunston's Lancastrian Suite on Thursday, October 15. It will be a belting night, with comedian Brendan Healy providing the laughs and a good auction to help swell the coffers.
