ATKINSON (Jarrow). Peacefully on September 18th, aged 83 years, Doreen (nee Jackson), beloved wife of the late Arthur, dearly loved mam of Billy and daughter in law Kate, much loved nana of Andrew, Ashley, Liam, Tom and Jamie. Friends please meet for service at St. Paul's Church, Jarrow on Monday 28th September at 9.15am, followed by cremation at South Shields Crematorium at 10.00am. Doreen will be resting in the Co operative Remembrance Rooms, Jarrow. Tel. (0191) 4897400. Lives on in our hearts.
CAIRNS (Gosforth). Passed away on Sunday September 20th 2009, at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, Elizabeth (nee Archer, formerly Goddard), beloved wife of the late Frank Goddard and then in later years wife of the late Alan Cairns, dearly loved mother of Mim and Mon, mother in law to Jim and David, loving grandmother to Ruth, Rebecca, Andrea, David, Simon and Sharon, cherished and adored grannie to Jenni, Jonathan, Victoria, Ellen, Thomas, Naomi, Keri, Bobby and Hana. Elizabeth was very proud of her family and all of their achievements in life, especially her great grandchildren who surround her with undivided love and adored her, a loving understanding, supporting and caring person, who loved her family and her friends. Would friends please meet for service at the Coxlodge Methodist Church on Monday September 28th at 10.30am, followed by interment at Hollywood Cemetery, Gosforth at 11.30am. Peacefully in St. Oswald's Hospice on 19th September 2009, aged 76 years, Ernest Sybenga, beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved dad of Karen, Valerie, Les, Steve and Gary, loving granda of David, Michael, Philip, Mark, Lesley, Maisey, Ellen and Rachel, also a great granda of Courtney, Taylor, Emily and Katie, father in law to Gary, Allan, Christine and Denise, loving brother of Lillian and Robert.
