ARMSTRONG (Swalwell). On July 24th 2009, aged 89 years, John, dearly loved husband of Ruth, much loved dad of Alan, David and Elizabeth, father in law of Pauline, Maureen and Bob and a dear granda and great granda of all the family. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton on Friday July 31st at 2.45pm.
BIRKETT (Haltwhistle). Peacefully in hospital on Friday 24th July, after a long illness, very bravely borne, John, aged 62 years, a darling husband to Carole, beloved dad of Stephen, Nicola and Neil, adored grandad of Danielle, Keri, Shane and Olly, dearly loved brother of Vivien and Peter, much loved father in law of Helen, Ian and Anne. John will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral Service to take place at 12.45pm on Friday 31st July at Holy Cross Church, Haltwhistle, followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle.
