Ali Hussain, owner and head chef of the Bangladeshi restaurant Caf Bangla in East Boldon, South Tyneside, is heading to London as a finalist at the British Curry Awards. It is televised around the world and has welcomed high profile guest speakers such as David Cameron on previous occasions. He and the restaurant are shortlisted for the North East's Best Chef and Best Restaurant Awards.
