A CONMAN used stolen cheques to run up a pounds 16,000 bill during a lavish day at the races.
Richard Carris went on the run following his spending spree at the National Hunt Gold Cup Festival, at Cheltenham Racecourse. During the fraud he wrote fake cheques to pay for expensive Bollinger Champagne and splashed out on pricey paintings between races.See the full content of this document
