A NEWCASTLE restaurant was named the best in the North East at last night's British Curry Awards in London.
Vujon in Queen Street was one of 10 restaurants to receive awards at a star-studded presentation dinner in London's Battersea Evolution. The British Curry Awards, now in their seventh year, are recognised as "the industry's Oscars" and more than 1,500 restaurateurs, VIP guests and celebrities were in the audience to see the results announced by celebrity chef James Martin, host of BBC1's Saturday Kitchen.See the full content of this document
