A CHILDREN'S disability charity is appealing to people across the North East to donate to desperately-ill youngsters who need equipment. Newlife predicts the ongoing nationwide financial crisis, will hit local health authorities leaving more disabled children without wheelchairs and specialist beds.
The charity, which runs its own Grant Equipment Service which parents can apply to, currently has one child in the North East who needs pounds 1,135 for equipment. Across the UK there are 214 children who need pounds 365,121 for equipment.See the full content of this document
