Summary

TOY HORSES: INTERRUPT A Welsh indie father-son duo whose shared love of music has bridged the generation gap, Toy Horses are a welcome sound for the approaching summer months. With honeyed vocals, lifting harmonies and a catchy beat, Interrupt has a great dreamy feel that's perfect for a sunny day listen yet has tender lyrics which push it further than being just an empty toe-tapper.

LYNDSEY FINERAN DAN SARTAIN: LEGACY OF HOSPITALITY As one of the leaders of primal rock and roll and rockabilly blues, Dan Sartain's 10-year anniversary in the music industry has been marked with a unique collection of unheard versions of his most popular songs, along with some new tracks, which will provide a real treat for avid Sartain fans. If you're a follower of this rugged and raw rock music, with its distorted vocals and staggering guitar skills, this album is a definite winner. But new listeners should be prepared for a set of relatively inaccessible tracks, ranging from the use of maracas in Flight Of The Finch to the angry thrashiness of I Don't Want To Go To The Party. All in all, Sartain pleases fans with this collective album showing progressively how his style and work has evolved over his career, but this distinctive music style will only appeal to a selective audience.
