Summary
It's been a nervous journey finding out where I came from. Most of us have a good idea of our family background as far as great- grandparents, but beyond that what do you really know? I leapt at the chance of having my family tree researched, free and with very little effort on my part, by experts at the North East Museums' Library Service and Tyne & Wear Archive Service.
