Sean Gorman accepted an out-of-court settlement from HM Prison Service minutes before a scheduled compensation hearing on Thursday. The married dad-of-two had appeared in Geordie TV hit Byker Grove in the early 1990s as teenager Kevin and later found a job helping young prisoners overcome drug problems.
