With Mr Blair's departure in sight, the bookies' odds for the next PM are 2-9 Brown to 80-1 Prescott. If Brown gets the job it means England will have a Prime Minister who no-one in England has voted for. As Brown's constituency is in Scotland only the Scots voted him in. We know that is why he was pushing the "Britishness" lark, but this is not on.
