Bikes Worth Pounds 3,000 Taken

Summary


POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of two bicycles worth a total of pounds 3,000.

The thefts took place on Saturday, and the first happened at 10.20am when a pounds 2,000 Kooka carbon fibre bicycle was left outside Whiptails Cycles on Livingstone View, Tynemouth. The second happened shortly after, sometime between 12.30pm and 1.30pm when a bike worth pounds 1,000 was left outside K&K Booze store in Coburg Street, North Shields. This bike is very distinctive with a bright red 'Skull' centre handlebar stem header.
