AT which point does the country change from being a democracy to a dictatorship? I ask the question, as it can not have gone unnoticed that the UK has an unelected Prime Minister and about nine or 10 peers of the realm in Government, and the peers do not have to make themselves accountable in the House of Commons.
It does not say very much about the calibre of Labour MPs if Gordon Brown is unable to find suitable ministers from the elected backbenches and has to surround himself with unelected lords.See the full content of this document
