A SURPRISE appearance by Ant and Dec made the Sunflower Ball a night to remember. Every year hundreds of guests head to one of the biggest nights in the North East's social calendar, in aid of the Chronicle's Sunshine Fund.

This year the glitzy event at The Gosforth Park Hotel was extra special, thanks to a surprise home-coming by Geordie favourites Ant and Dec.
