A MOTHER who claimed nearly pounds 35,000 in benefits while her children were living in Florida was today given 80 years to pay back the money, a council said.
Janet Thomas, 45, of Talman Grove, Stan-more, north west London, lived in London claiming benefit for her children who actually lived 4,000 miles away near Disney World. She was claiming housing benefit, income support and council tax relief. Her claims included money for her teenage children, although they were not living in Britain, the authority said.See the full content of this document
